If you are using an SAP system where an SAP GUI is still used, this area could be very important for you. SAP scripting should be activated to ensure smooth recognition of the fields. Please note the following setting.

1. Instructions

SAP scripting should be activated in the environment where you want to make a recording. To achieve this, follow the steps below:

1) Enter RZ11 in the transaction field

2) Enter sapgui/user_scripting in the “Parameter name” field

3) Now click on “Show“, a screen called “Show profile parameter details” should open, see screenshot below.

4) Now click on “Change value”

5) If the “Current value” is not set to “TRUE”, enter “TRUE” in the “New value” field.

6) Then click on the save symbol to complete the process.

You have now activated SAP GUI client scripting.
